Stay a Little Longer…

New in the harbour of Scheveningen is Wine2Share. This cute and intimate wine bar is run by Bas Loeve & Nicole Lousberg.

Here, top-level wine is presented. You can walk in for just a glass, or stay for lunch or dinner. Wines are poured by the glass, but also by the bottle. If you like a specific wine, you can order a couple of bottles for at home or in the office. Wine2Share is also a great location for a private dinner with a small group or a team-building event with colleagues. When organising these events, Bas & Nicole work closely with chef Julien Guittet and Anne Huntjens, formerly of Restaurant Sodafine.

Wijn & Ko

The most interesting new development outside The Hague is currently being realised in Haarlem as a long-term follow-up to the highly successful ‘Pop-up’ wine café Wijn & Ko, formerly situated on the Grote Markt in Haarlem. The reactions from the public to the original Wijn & Ko were so overwhelming that its owners went in search of a permanent location to continue their enterprise. And they have found it: Wijn & Ko will be reopening its doors at Turfmarkt 20, which is also in the centre of Haarlem, along the river Spaarne, a mere 200 meters from the seafood restaurant Vis & Ko, which is run by the same couple.

The quality of the food will entice many guests to stay, instead of merely having a glass and dashing out again. Increasingly, they will settle down to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, while enjoying food that is superbly suited to the lovely wines – all poured by the glass.
