This will be my fourth year contributing to The XPat Journal. This also means that it’s my fourth article on this issue’s topic: Education.
Given this fact, it is not always easy to come up with a good subject – and sometimes inspiration fails me. So, this time, I turned to my son. He’s 25 years old and is a Bachelor Student of Archeology somewhere in the East of the Netherlands.
I asked him, being a born-and-raised complaining Dutch father: “What is the biggest irritation for you in your school?” (you know by now, being an expat, that the Dutch love to complain. Not because they’re upset, but simply for the love of complaining).
His answer to my question? “PvA”. PvWhat?
