The former, colonial, connection of the Netherlands with Indonesia has resulted in a large number of Indonesian restaurants in Holland. What they serve varies from cheap, fast food to really interesting dishes; well-prepared and based on the finest ingredients.

Quite rare is the combination between an oriental kitchen and a European one; in the case of iLundi, Italian. Raymond, Anja and Rienske all have their roots in the restaurant or catering world and share the same passion for these two world-class kitchens; Indonesian and Italian. After finding a nice location mid-2015, they decided to build their dream restaurant, which would serve lovely food from both ‘worlds’.

iLundi is not a fusion restaurant, but one where you can order either Indonesian food or Italian, and in any combination that happens to catch your fancy.
