On Sunday February 4, 2018, The Feel at Home in The Hague Fair will be celebrating its 11th edition.
More than 4,000 visitors attended the event in the Hague City Hall in February 2017 and appreciated the unique ambiance created by the combination of over 150 exhibitors with a dynamic programme of activities and entertainment, workshops and seminars.
No other expat event in the Netherlands engenders quite the same sense of community as the Hague Feel at Home Fair, where nearly a half of the stands are local sports and social clubs or volunteer organisations. These groups exhibit free of charge and relish the opportunity to network, advertise their activities and recruit new members.
Alongside these community groups are dozens of small business stands, many of them run by internationals who themselves moved to the Netherlands as an expat, but have since made The Hague their home. These multicultural entrepreneurs have special insight into the products and services that internationals abroad are looking for.
The 2018 Fair will celebrate the huge diversity of sports, leisure and wellness facilities that are available locally. Whether you want to be a member of a competitive team, connect with others to play an occasional game, learn a new sport, keep fit, or exercise through a leisure activity, there will be something for everyone at the Fair. The Hague Region has an excellent infrastructure of clubs, associations and sports facilities to practice every sport imaginable: from beach sports to skiing and sailing, to golf, gymnastics and dance, to rugby, football, hockey and lacrosse.
Entrance for visitors is free if you register in advance on: www.feelathomeinthehague.com
