Creating Real-Life Learning Moments

With almost 1,400 students representing 60 countries, the International School of Amsterdam (ISA) offers numerous opportunities for students of all ages to become impassioned with life-long learning by experiencing ‘real-life’ learning moments that connect them with the meaning behind the curriculum and stories in their lessons. An exciting and popular way through which the school does this is by inviting renowned authors and illustrators to campus to talk with students and answer their questions, providing them with a taste of life behind the words they read and images they see each day.

Recently, ISA invited New York Times bestselling author Jean Kwok and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Colson Whitehead to visit ISA.
