Having some expat experience herself, Edith van Ruitenbeek is aware of the privileged life that comes with allowances for housing, travel, schooling, etc. – but also that this is, of course, only one side of the coin. As a family lawyer, she also knows that expat families with children are very often not aware of the challenges that accompany an international career.
When moving from one country to the other, employers are, most of the time, helpful with information concerning housing and schools.
