There is a lot involved in the purchase of a house. When you have found your ideal home, you will have to enter into a written purchase agreement and you will have to find a bank that is willing to give you a mortgage – that is, if you need one. And then you will have to go to a civil law notary for the signing of the transfer deed and the mortgage deed. And then… you can call yourself the owner of the home.
